A tree was planted on 21 September 2012 in the grounds of Jože Moškrič Primary School near the Path along the Wire as part of the international UNESCO project ENO Tree Planting Day.

Jože Moškrič Primary School is part of the global network of UNESCO schools and a tree is planted in its grounds, which lie just a stone’s throw from the Path along the Wire, every autumn. Thereby the school is part of a worldwide tree-planting campaign around the world and a global green ring. The school joined the campaign in 2007 and a number of trees have been planted there since then.

The tree-planting at the school was joined by members of the Green Ring Society and staff from the Želva company, who maintain the Path along the Wire, while the event was also attended by Mayor Zoran Janković.
