Environmentally-friendly vehicles
The new, environmentally-friendly Ljubljana Public Transport methane-fuelled buses and eco-vehicles of Javni Holding Ljubljana and City of Ljubljana public companies were presented at Congress Square on 17 September 2014 within the European Mobility Week.
Ljubljana Public Transport (LPP) introduced 10 new articulated methane-buses, adding up to 36 of such kind in the Ljubljana Public Transport fleet, which stands for 17 % of all vehicles.
The City of Ljubljana, the Public Holding Ljubljana and other public companies with the most modern environmentally-friendly energy vehicles were also presented. The vehicles are a part of following the sustainable development strategy of Ljubljana.The City of Ljubljana replaced vehicles on gas and diesel with environmentally-friendly vehicles. Up to 43 out of 51 vehicle are methane-fuelled.The Public Holding Ljubljana and public companies have 4 electric scooters, 49 personal methane-fuelled vehicles, 7 electrical cavalier type vehicles, 14 service methane-fuelled vehicles, 5 service vehicles with combined gas and LPG fuel, and 1 personal combined gas and LPG fuelled vehicle.
