Within the framework of the action EU project, my project 2016, there will be open days on 10 and 11 June 2016 for some projects, which were financed by the European funds. Among the proposals are also RCERO Ljubljana and P+R Barje.

In the last few years, many projects in the European Union were realised with the help of the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund or the Cohesion Fund. Over 5000 projects have been supported with European funding in Slovenia since it has joined the EU, and some of them will be presented on 10 and 11 June 2016 during open days of the EU project, my project 2016.
Among the proposals are also two projects from the City Municipality of Ljubljana, i.e. Regional Waste Management Centre RCERO Ljubljana and P+R Barje.
RCERO Ljubljana is the largest cohesion environmental project in the country combining 37 municipalities. In one of the largest centres in Europe, which deals with a third of all waste in Slovenia, state of the art sustainable technology is used to process waste in facilities for mechanical biologic waste treatment.
Parking spaces P+R Barje, which was opened in September 2015, is located along the south city road in Ljubljana and it connects the state and city road network. There are 347 parking spots for personal vehicles. Projects, which will be presented on open days, will be selected via internet voting. It will take place until 13 May 2016 at www.eu-skladi.si.
