European Space Expo

The European Space Expo, a free travelling exhibition, which highlights the ways in which the space projects and applications directly influence our daily life, will be on display from 6 to 15 March 2015 at the Congress Square.

Over 30.000 applications depend on space technology daily – the traffic optimisation applications, agriculture and fishing efficiency, environment protection and improved safety. The exhibition, among other features, presents key information on the European Space Programme, the Galileo and EGNOS satellite navigation systems, and Copernicus, the Earth observation programme.

The European Space Expo exhibition is free of charge and information is available in several languages. The Expo dome will feature lectures on collaboration with the Slovenian experts every day at 5.30 p.m.
With this unique, interactive, educational and entertaining exhibition of the European Space Expo the European Union aims at raising awareness of numerous benefits of space investments and their contribution to the everyday life of the European citizens.
