Fdi summit slovenia 2011

As part of the FDI Summit Slovenia 2011 international conference, prizes were awarded to the best foreign investors in Slovenia at Ljubljana Castle on Thursday 13 October 2011.

On Thursday 13 and Friday 14 October 2011, Ljubljana’s Grand Hotel Union was the venue of the FDI Summit 2011, organised by the Slovenia Times, the Slovenian Ministry of the Economy and the Slovenian Public Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investment. This was an international conference intended for discussion of foreign investment in Slovenia as part of which for the sixth time prizes were awarded at Ljubljana Castle to the best foreign investors in Slovenia.

The prizes for FDI Award Slovenia 2011 were awarded to Saubermacher Slovenija, Goodyear Dunlop Sava Tires, Julon and Ertl Glas Steklo. In its choices, the expert commission that selected the recipients of the FDI Award Slovenia 2011 for best foreign investors took into account companies that have more than 10% of their capital from abroad, traded at a profit in 2010 and had in the previous year more than €1m total revenue and more than 10 staff. The commission selected for special recognition Goodyear Dunlop Sava Tires, whose relatively low indebtedness and high capital strength and liquidity can be a model in the field of company financial management.

The FDI Award Slovenia 2011 prizes were awarded by Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Janković at Ljubljana Castle on Thursday 13 October 2011.

The two-day FDI Summit 2011 international conference concluded with a showcase of plans for driving forward urgently-required changes in Slovenia by political decision-makers.
