The courtyard at Ljubljana Castle is once again the venue of the annual festival of ‘Film under the Stars’, during which up to 17 August film lovers will be able to see a selection of some of the most acclaimed films from the last cinematic season.

The now traditional Film under the Stars festival, featuring this year six premieres or avant premieres, is put together by Kinodvor in partnership with the City of Ljubljana and Ljubljana Castle public institute.

In the event that a screening is cancelled due to bad weather, it will be shown the following day at 9.30pm at Kinodvor. In the event of the cancellation of a premiere or avant premiere, at Kinodvor the following day there will be two alternative films at 7pm and 9.30pm.

Films are screened in their original language with Slovene subtitles. The Slovene films are screened with English subtitles.
