This year's Film under the Stars program, which will take place in the Castle Courtyard from 13 July to 5 August, will mark a year of anniversaries – 100 years of the cinema on Kolodvorska, 20 years of the art cinema and 15 years of the city cinema. Five films will be screened at the pre-premieres and premieres.

Every year, the Kinodvor cinema, in cooperation with the City of Ljubljana and the Ljubljana Castle Public Institute, prepares a selection of premieres and pre-premieres as well as some of the most resounding films of the cinema season, which are shown in the annual cinema under the stars.

Tickets already for sale

Films will be shown every day at 21:30. They will be screened in the original language with Slovenian subtitles; for films in languages other than English, the subtitles will also be in English. The ticket price is 6 €, and 7 € for pre-premieres and premieres. There are no reservations or discounts. Tickets are already available.
In case of rain or bad weather forecast, the screening is cancelled. The replacement screening will take place the next day at 21:00 in Kinodvor. In case of the pre-premiere or premiere cancellation, there will be two alternative screenings in Kinodvor.
