“good work” for jožica curk
Designers Society of Slovenia awarded the “Good Work” prize to the architect Jožica Curk for her project “Janez Levec Educational Centre”.
The Janez Levec and City of Ljubljana Education Centre is intended to provide support for education of children with special needs in nurseries and schools of the City of Ljubljana and is with regard to its own concept of operation and facilities unique in this part of Europe. It was established in September 2013. With the opening of the new premises on Zemljemerska 7 in September 2014 that have been designed by Jožica Curk it was moved to modern, specially designated facilities that enable full implementation of programmes and at the same time strengthen the entire field of education of children with special needs as well as cooperation with their families.
Our congratulations go to the architect Jožica Curk and her incredible achievement in architectural conceptualization of the Janez Levec and City of Ljubljana Education Centre in development of spatial solutions for work with children with special needs and we wish her many further successes and challenges in her future work.
