The Tourism Ljubljana and the PictureSlovenia institutes have organised a photography competition Green Photograph of Ljubljana (Zelena Fotografija Ljubljane). Photographers are invited to participate in the presentation of Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016.

Ljubljana is a green city in its actions and its natural endowments. The city has convinced the jury at the European Commission to receive the title of the European Green Capital in June this year in Copenhagen.
The City of Ljubljana boasts with 560 m2 of green or public green surface per resident and it is precisely this green character we aim to capture in the photographs with fresh and diverse perspective.
