Former Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany Hans Dietrich Genscher has paid a visit to Ljubljana to honour the 20th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Slovenia.

During his visit, he met Mayor Zoran Janković on Thursday 23 June 2011 and was welcomed to City Hall by Deputy Mayor Aleš Čerin.

On this occasion Hans Dietrich Genscher signed the Golden Book of the City of Ljubljana.
