The President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor awarded the Silver Order of Merits to the Community Health Centre Ljubljana for its fifty years of successful operation and providing medical care in Ljubljana and the surrounding area.

On behalf of the Community Health Centre Ljubljana the recognition was accepted by its Director Rudi Dolšak, who took the opportunity to underscore that the recognition results from team work of all employees of the Community Health Centre Ljubljana over the past 50 years. He said it was not always easy, but nevertheless the Community Health Centre Ljubljana, especially in the past 10 years, has been introducing novelties, it has been helping other health care institutions and cooperating at different levels of the Slovenian health care system. He added: »We are carrying out international projects, we have detected a need for knowledge and using simulations shared specific expertise with the whole of Slovenia on how to react in urgent cases and emergencies.« He concluded: »The recognition goes to each and every one of the 1600 employees.«
