On the occasion of the 30th edition of the Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts we present you with the opportunity to visit the Joan Miró’s Printmaking Workshops exhibition located at the Galerija Kresija art gallery.

The exhibition came to life in cooperation with the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca, Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (IEB), Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, the City of Ljubljana, the Spanish Embassy in Slovenia and the Turespaña national tourism agency.
Elvira Cámara López, the curator of the exhibition and director of the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca, selected five artists who produced work in Miró’s workshops. These are: Wolf Vostell, Wayne Crothers, Democracia, Antonio Miralda and a group of young artists that formed around Patricia Gómez and Marie Jesús González. In addition, the entire creative process of reproducing the ninth edition of the print from the series The Dogs [Els gossos] by Joan Miró will be presented, including the model, matrix and test print.
The Kresija gallery will host the exhibition until 24 November 2013.
