Kavalir Summer Season

The summer season of Kavalirs, electric vehicles, which aid the users in the pedestrian zone and are foremost intended to persons with trouble walking, is open. Over 800 thousand passengers have taken the ride with a Kavalir.

The Ljubljana Public Transport (LPP) provides three flawless Kavalirs in the summer season in the city's pedestrian zone. The vehicles are available every day of the week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. These open type Kavalirs continue to operate until low temperatures and bad weather, while the closed type Kavalir operates throughout the year without breaks.

Kavalirs have been bringing joy to citizens and tourists in Ljubljana since 2008, and have been co-creating the city's image for seven years. The first Kavalir gave rides to around 30 people per day, when it was first introduced; by the 2013 the number has increased to 300 passengers daily. Since their beginnings and up to today the three Kavaliers have altogether driven for over 50,000 kilometres and taken in over 800,000 passengers. Kavaliers are and will continue to be free-of-charge for the passengers.
