'landscapes of serbia'

There is a photographic exhibition entitled 'Landscapes of Serbia' at the Jakopič Promenade.

On Wednesday 10 August an exhibition opened on the Jakopič Promenade in Tivoli Park entitled 'Landscapes of Serbia', by the renowned Serbian artist Dragoljub Zamurović.

The exhibition, which is at the Jakopič Promenade until the end of September 2011, was opened by its author Dragoljub Zamurović and Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Janković.

Serbian artist Dragoljub Zamurović's large format exhibition photography showcases Serbia and its characteristic landscapes, images from the countryside and interesting glimpses into Zamurović’s spectacular and unique methods. Dragoljub Zamurović (born in 1947) is considered one of Serbia's most prominent photographers. His creativity has won him a range of domestic and foreign awards, while his photos have many times been published in periodicals such as Time, Geo, Epoca, Newsweek, Europe, Stern and National Geographic etc.

American magazine LIFE has used his work in its popular Big Pictures section, and in 1991 his photography was also on the front cover of that magazine. Among other countries, his books of photography have been published in the USA, Britain, Russia, Germany and Italy.
