Ljubljana among the most sustainable destinations in the world for the seventh time already
For the seventh year in a row, Ljubljana was included in the Global TOP 100 Sustainable Destinations list, thus retaining the title of one of the hundred most sustainable destinations in the world. This year's list includes destinations from 34 countries. We are also the only city in the world to receive this title for the seventh time.
This time, the international expert jury was convinced by the KulKul Moment project, with which we connected culture and cuisine, a frequent motive of domestic and foreign visitors to come to Ljubljana.
The non-profit international organization Green Destinations evaluates and awards the best practices of the global green and sustainable tourism according to strict criteria, and every year organizes one of the biggest international conferences on sustainable tourism, Global Green Destinations Days.
