Ljubljana – Barcelona

The new service between Ljubljana and Barcelona will operate twice weekly throughout the summer.

On 25 June 2010, a plane of the Spanish low-fare airline company Vueling will land at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport for the first time.

A Vueling Airbus 320 will fly from Ljubljana Airport to Barcelona El Prat Airport on Tuesdays and Fridays provisionally from 25 June to 10 September 2010. Tickets can be booked online at www.vueling.com or via travel agents.

The Spanish air carrier Vueling is one of eight air carriers and one of two low-fare air carriers constituting the network of airlines providing regular direct services from Ljubljana. The Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport serves regular flights to 28 cities across Europe, including major hubs such as London, Paris and Frankfurt, the destinations of the majority of airline passengers flying from Ljubljana. Apart from regular flights, Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport also serves charter flights to a wide choice of destinations (as many as 30 during the summer), the most attractive this year being the newly introduced summer charter flights to Enfida in Tunisia and Catania in Sicily.
