Ljubljana craft and small business fair

The Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre is hosting the 4th Ljubljana Craft and Small Business Fair from 7 to 10 May 2014 with words “To Ljubljana to a Fair!”

The fair is organised by the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia and the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.

This year's central event was once again the Forum on Craft and Small Business (7 May 2014, at 11 a.m.), where the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia took this opportunity to acquaint representatives from the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and general public with current conditions and annual demands of the Slovenian craft and small business, which aims to revitalise the small economy in Slovenia.

On Friday, 9 May 2014, the fair will host the 11th Nanotechnology Day, organised by the Board for Science and Technology at the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia. It is an event in the area of efficiently connecting economy with science and transferring new knowledge and technologies to small economy – mostly small and micro companies.

Discover Professions on Street of Crafts

The Street is organised within the "one-stop-shop" principle to offer the visitors a demonstration of individual professions, inclusion of high schools students into the process of practical training, information on high schools and the Council of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational and Professional Education, and meet the support of experts of the craft and small business system all in one place. The Street of Crafts presents over 10 attractive craft professions.
