In Ljubljana, we are constantly implementing projects and measures to improve cycling conditions.

Currently, we are installing new bicycle stands at several locations, expanding the network of BicikeLJ stops, and there are numerous upgrades of the cycling infrastructure underway. In total, we plan to install 160 bicycle stands at various locations this year. New bicycle parking spaces are planned in places where we have detected an increased need for additional or new stands. We are also carrying out the next round of expanding the network of BicikeLJ system stations, adding to the existing 72 stations and 720 bicycles.

Many road infrastructure renovations are also underway, including the construction of safer and more pleasant areas for pedestrians and cyclists. All these measures and activities prove that Ljubljana is a bicycle-friendly city.
