Ljubljana is hosting Velo-city 2022
Ljubljana is hosting the next Global Cycling Summit Velo-city, which is taking place from 14 to 17 June 2022.
The biggest congress in the field of cycling will be held under the central theme »Cycling the change« or »Kolesari – spremembo ustvari«, as we have translated and adapted the title in Slovene. Applications are already open on the website www.velo-city2022.com.

The annual congress, held since 1980, is organized by the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) together with a partner city that was successful in the association's open call. Ljubljana received an invitation to organize this meeting already for 2020 but had to postpone it to 2022 due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
Open call for submission of abstracts of conceptual contributions prolonged until 19th November
At www.velo-city2022.com, we have published a call for abstracts of conceptual contributions for the conference. Don't miss your chance to inspire the global cycling community, think outside the box, and submit an abstract under one of the following subthemes:
• Rethinking urban space
• Focus on citizens, stakeholders and community
• Policies for more cycling
• Green tourism, green economy
• Urban mobility innovation
