Ljubljana mediation centre

The Ljubljana Mediation Centre, managed by the Slovenian Association of Mediators, has opened its doors in the MOL facilities at the Adamič Lundrovo Nabrežje 2.

The Ljubljana Mediation Centre offers assistance to all citizens who are parties in various disputes and would like to solve their legal matters via mediation: disputes with other natural persons or legal entities as users of public services and MOL public service operators.

Also legal entities, civil society, MOL and state employees are welcome to visit the office and apply for the mediation process to solve their disputes with MOL or its organizations.

Mediation provides all who interested parties to quickly resolve their disputes for a reasonable price and to the mutual satisfaction of both parties.
Natural persons in mutual mediation are entitled to 30 hours of free mediation per year without having to pay the mediator’s fee for mediation meetings lasting up to 2 hours of. The mediator’s fee is also significantly lower from the established tariff at the Slovenian Association of Mediators. The abovementioned body will charge a mediator’s fee of 17 EUR (without VAT) for every started half an hour of mediation meeting, 100 EUR (without VAT) for successfully resolved mediation and travel expenses at the most inexpensive public transport rate.

Head of Ljubljana Mediation Centre, the mediator Irena Kosovel offers all parties the necessary information on the start of mediation procedure and guarantees confidentiality of their statements and personal data. After the parties in dispute agree on mediation, the Association takes over and follows the procedure according to the established rules of mediation until, preferably, the agreement is reached or one of the parties withdraws from mediation.

Slovenian Association of Mediators wants the Ljubljana Mediation Centre to establish itself and attain the respected position of mediation as a civilized solution for solving disputes. In the light of this the doors open day will be organized in December to present all the visitors the modus operandi of its work and offer answers to all questions posed.
