On Tuesday, 25 July, the Ljubljana Square was ceremoniously opened on the southern part of Bükköny and Safrany streets in Budapest.

The ceremony was attended by Mayor Zoran Janković, Mayor of Budapest István Tarlós and Slovenian Ambassador to Hungary Ksenija Škrilec.

The naming of the square is a result of good Hungarian-Slovenian relations and an expression of constant deepening of cooperation between both cities.
