The Zalog Hall is opening its ice rink for recreational ice skating on two summer Sundays, 28 June and 5 July 2020.

Summer ice skating is not only a recreational but also a pleasant cooling activity on hot days. In any case, it is an additional opportunity for socializing and mini family trips. You can ice skate both Sundays between 14:00 and 15:30, the admission fee is 2 euro and skate rental 4 euro.

How ice is prepared in the summer heat

Preparing the ice surface in summer is the same as during winter. The only difference is that in summer the ice surface is not painted, that is, there are no hockey markings as the hockey season is over. But we have to be very careful when polishing the ice surface with the ice-resurfacing machine as high temperatures are also felt in the hall.
