Ljubljana tourist card news

Among other things, Ljubljana Tourist Card now enables 24-hour access to the WiFreeLjubljana wireless network, while Ljubljana Tourism has unveiled a new children's card intended for those aged 6 - 14. It is available at lower prices, thus this product is launched as an active appeal to families.

Meanwhile, the benefits brought by the card are broadening (free visits to the main attractions, free regular guided tours of the city, free travel on city buses, free tourist boat trips and other benefits), and will also include discounted admission to Atlantis, discounts on certain prices at Emporium, on visits to the Casino, bowling and other activities.
The greatest marketing potential is certainly brought by sales of the tourist card in a package with hotel accommodation. Thus Ljubljana Tourism has agreed with Ljubljana hoteliers for the card to be included in hotel packages. In this way Ljubljana can begin to market, for example three days (two overnights), with breakfast and a Ljubljana Tourist Card – which offers the whole city at your fingertips, virtually without any additional expense, for as little as €110, €130 or €150 (different prices in different hotels, according to the hotel category). In November 2012, Ljubljana Tourism added to the Visit Ljubljana website the option to reserve hotel packages, available at competitive prices, combining two overnights in a Ljubljana hotel and other pleasures in Ljubljana, inclusive of a Ljubljana Tourist Card.
That the Ljubljana Tourist Card is a seriously good and competitive tourist product – and this by European measures – is also confirmed by autumn research conducted by European automobile associations united in the EuroTest consortium, in which Ljubljana and its card were ranked in third place out of 14 European cities.
