LPP buses as mobile Safe Points

Ljubljana is the first city with mobile UNICEF Safe Points, namely, children in distress can seek help on all buses of the public passenger transport company LPP.

The idea to include LPP buses into the network of Safe Points sprung up because buses are mobile and cover the area of the whole city of Ljubljana and its surrounding municipalities. This way Safe Points are even more accessible and available to children virtually everywhere.
What are Safe Points?
These are different public spaces, such as youth centres, police stations, the National Assembly, pharmacies, libraries, hairdressing salons, florists, shops and other spaces, and from now on also LPP busses, where children can find help if they are in distress. They are identifiable by a special smiling house sticker clearly visible at the entrance.
