On Sunday 16 November 2014 the millionth visitor overstepped the threshold of Ljubljana Castle.

A successful summer tourist season, when they have registered two daily records both in entrances to the castle as well as the number of passengers on a funicular, already promised that Ljubljana Castle would also get its millionth visitor this year. Last year they got it right before the end of the year on 28 December 2013. However, this year the entrance meter signalled the mark a good month beforehand, on Sunday 16 November 2014.

Thus the Ljubljana Castle remains the main tourist point not only of the capital but also in the wider area. We are looking forward to your visits in the future.
