In Ljubljana, a creative children's city Minicity, which is located in BTC, has come to life.

In Minicity that offers leisure activities for the whole family with the greatest added educational value are also involved the Snaga, Vodovod – Kanalizacija and Ljubljanski Potniški Promet public companies, which will be presenting their activities to children, encouraging them to separate and reduce waste, efficiently use drinking water as well as present the advantages of the use of public transport. The Ljubljana Zoo, which teaches kids how of taking care of animals, also cooperates in Minicity.

Children between 3 and 12 years can in Minicity get engaged in 19 educational play units in which they learn about professions and gain useful everyday knowledge. The younger have fun in the Corner for toddlers, while the adults can use the Centre for parents offering multiple courses, workshops, lectures and recreation, aimed at both parents and prospective parents, new parents, grandparents.
Children carry out all activities under the guidance of animators that are carefully selected and trained to promote the child's thinking with questions, conversation, and participation in the group. However, in doing so the animator lets children acquire the knowledge by themselves so that they carry out the entire process independently – from the preparation to cleaning stage – motivating them in experiencing success and in this way offers help on their way to independence.
