A new kindergarten unit at Zadobrovška cesta 12 was opened by Aleš Čerin, Deputy Mayor pro tempore carrying out the functions of Mayor at 3pm on Wednesday 15 February 2012, and an hour later there was the opening of a new extension at Zadobrova primary school at Zadobrovška cesta 32.

The new kindergarten unit Miškolin – Polje II, in which there is space for two children’s classes, stands among blocks of flats and its design relates it to the Polje II neighbourhood. The investment totalled €751,458.51.

As part of the construction of an extension to Zadobrova primary school a service entrance was built, two classrooms for class 1 and 2 pupils, three cloakrooms and a small gym for 1st triad pupils which can also serve as a multi-purpose space. New toilet facilities with changing rooms and a connecting corridor have been added with library space also renovated. The investment totalled €1,219,160.37.
