New residential-business neighbourhood polje ii

On Friday 25 November 2011, Jožka Hegler, Director of the City of Ljubljana Public Housing Fund and Mayor Zoran Janković opened the residential-business neighbourhood Polje II between Zadobrovška cesta and cesta Polje in Ljubljana.

The neighbourhood has six multi-apartment units (known as A, B, C, D, E and F), three commercial spaces on the ground floor of building A near Zadobrovška cesta, a kindergarten and a single-storey basement car park. Principles of energy conservation were taken into account in the construction, so a solar power plant was incorporated into the design of the area. We expect that the electricity generated will cover the costs of the electricity commonly consumed. Integrated solar collectors will enable the partial heating of domestic hot water.
Further information about the new residential-business neighbourhood Polje II can be found in the attached document.
