Mayor Zoran Janković and a delegation undertook an official visit to Baku between 28 and 30 August 2013.

Mayor Zoran Janković travelled to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Mayor of the City of Baku Hajibala Abutalybov, accompanied by President of the City International Relations Commission and Ljubljana City Councillor Mitja Meršol.
The purpose of the visit was to establish contact between the cities and on this occasion our Mayor met the Mayor of Baku and other representatives of executive authority in Baku. He was also received by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and other high representatives of the Republic.
Alongside the City of Ljubljana representatives, the delegation also saw participation from the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and the Ministry of Defence.
