Friday 17 May 2013 saw the opening in Pogačarjev trg in downtown Ljubljana of ‘Odprta Kuhna’, the ‘Open Kitchen’ open-air culinary project which is to unite more than fifty of the best hospitality providers from Slovenia and abroad every Friday all the way to October.

"Odprta Kuhna" is a unique food market of already-cooked tasty treats that gives caterers, restaurateurs, farm tourism venues and independent master chefs the opportunity to offer and showcase their unique dishes and simultaneously promote their culinary destinations.

More than fifty of the best restaurants, farm tourism destinations and independent master chefs are to open their kitchens in Pogačarjev trg every Friday from 17 May all the way to October.

To guarantee a relaxed and fun atmosphere, along with their stalls, the Open Kitchen is also going to offer pleasant music and various performances.
