Alive - outdoor photographic exhibition

Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Janković opened an exhibition entitled Alive in the foyer of the National Museum of Slovenia on Sunday 23 March 2008.

During Slovenia's EU Presidency, the Slovenian capital has joined three premier global capitals that have used the Alive exhibition to warn of the threat to endangered fauna and to promote sustainable development as the only real alternative for survival on Earth.

39 global photographers of animals in the wild have contributed exceptional photography to the Alive exhibition, organised in partnership with the GoodPlanet.org foundation under the leadership of renowned master of aerial photography Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

The exhibition is at the open-air gallery on the Jakopič promenade and is open until 30 May 2008.
