Mayor Zoran Janković held a reception on 25 July 2016 at Ljubljana City Hall for the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev with his delegation.

Mayor Zoran Janković welcomed the president in Ljubljana, this year's European Green Capital, and emphasized good cooperation between Sofia and Ljubljana. President of Bulgaria expressed enthusiasm for Ljubljana, which he called “the most beautiful city in the world”, and the kindness of its citizens. He congratulated the Mayor for all achievements and awards, and signed the Golden Book of Ljubljana. At the end, he visited the city centre.
