Mayor Zoran Janković has welcomed Mrs Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the President of the Republic of Malta, on her official visit to Slovenia on 26 February 2015 at the City Hall.

The Mayor welcomed the President and her spouse at their first visit to Slovenia and stated his honours of hosting them in Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016. He is convinced we can exchange many examples of good practice, particularly in the field of tourism. The esteemed guest was charmed by the warmth of our citizens, who are peaceful and respectful to culture, tradition and history. Both the President and the Mayor have emphasised the meaning of collaboration between the two capitals.

The President signed the Golden Book of Ljubljana on this occasion, took a tour of the City Hall and a walk through the city's centre.
