Summer is perfect for reading a good book in the cool shade, so we discover pleasant corners of Ljubljana where you can enjoy yourself.

If you would like to cool off in a pool while reading a book, you can visit the Kolezija swimming pool, where the Ljubljana City Library has filled three shelves with books for all tastes. The swimming pool is open from Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 22:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 22:00.

We can also read while visiting the Zoo

Visitors to the Ljubljana Zoo can relax in the reading corner set up by the Ljubljana City Library next to the vivarium. In July and August, you can visit the Zoo every day from 9:00 to 19:00.

 In Ljubljana, you can enjoy the company of a good book and the refreshing shade of trees at twelve different locations of the Library under the Treetops. In bad weather, the Library under the Treetops is closed.
