Reception of the bulgarian president at ljubljana city hall
On Tuesday morning, 7 June, Mayor Zoran Janković welcomed President of Bulgaria Georgi Sedefcov Parvanov and a Bulgarian delegation to City Hall.
Following the reception in the Green Hall at City Hall and signature of the City of Ljubljana's Golden Book, Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Janković and Bulgarian President Georgi Sedefcov Parvanov with their wives and delegations from Bulgaria and the City of Ljubljana took a walk around the city centre from Ciril Metodov Square, through the central market place across Mesarski most (the Butchers' Bridge), Petkovškovo nabrežje, past Tromostovje (the Triple Bridge) to Prešeren Square.
Bulgarian President Georgi Sedefcov Parvanov was on an official visit to Slovenia on 6 and 7 June 2011 at the invitation of President of Slovenia Danilo Türk, and also met the Speaker of the Slovenian Parliament Dr Pavel Gantar and Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor. On Thursday 7 June the Presidents of Slovenia and Bulgaria also greeted participants at and formally opened a Slovenian-Bulgarian business conference at the Conference Centre at Brdo pri Kranju, organised by the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments and the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce.
