On Monday 11 June 2012, Mayor Zoran Janković held a reception at City Hall for the Lord Mayor of London David Wootton, who was visiting Ljubljana with a business delegation.

The Lord Mayor of London took the opportunity to sign the City of Ljubljana's Golden Book. The City Hall reception was followed by a visit to Ljubljana Castle.

In the afternoon, the Lord Mayor of London David Wootton and his business delegation also paid a visit to Ljubljana Technology Park, where he met representatives of three start-up businesses, and, among others, the CEO of RSG Capital venture capital fund Jure Mikuž and Director of Ljubljana Technology Park Iztok Lesjak MA. The operations of Slovenia's largest technology park, the country’s leading organisation for promoting entrepreneurship with high knowledge content, were outlined to the Lord Mayor of London and the business delegation.
