On Monday, 30 July, a reception of young Slovenian handball players, who have won the title of European Champions in the category under 20 years, was taking place in front of the Town Hall. The handball players were welcomed also by the mayor Zoran Janković, who presented them with a symbolic gift – a statue of the Ljubljana dragon.

The mayor Zoran Janković also added: “Congratulations to our young Golden handball players with a lion’s heart, European champions! The future of Slovenian handball is in good hands!”
