In May 2017 a new daily bicycle rental record was set in the BicikeLJ bicycle rental system, and since 2012 cyclist went on over 4 million bicycle rides.

In May the BicikeLJ self-service bicycle rental system recorded 103,898 rentals, and the daily record was set on 26 May when cyclists rented bikes as many as 4,880 times.

From 12 May 2011, when the BicikeLJ system came to life in Ljubljana, and until the end of May this year as many as 4,170,270 bicycle rentals were recorded.

In addition, this spring 13 new stations were included into the network of BicikleLJ stations which is now comprised of 51 stations and 510 bicycles.
