Sava Recreational and Educational Centre – a newly created area for relaxation and recreation.

The first phase of building-design work at the Sava Recreational and Educational Centre has given Ljubljana yet another remodelled area intended for relaxation and recreation in what was once a run-down site.

As part of the Sava Recreational and Educational Centre, sample sections of cycle paths, footpaths and horse riding trails have been set out, as well as a children's playground, picnic areas, a small animal farm, a visitors' car park and horse enclosures.

The investment in the centre is co-financed by the City of Ljubljana, the European Regional Development Fund and the Foundation for Sport.
