Relocation of Home Care Institute

Mayor Zoran Janković has opened the Home Care Institute Ljubljana in the renovated Vila Urška on 4 March 2015 at the Poljanska Cesta 97.

The Home Care Institute Ljubljana, which provides services for families at their home to substitute the need for the institutionalised care for a certain period of time, will continue to maintain its set goals and spread its activity in its new facilities.
Social home care is intended for beneficiaries who have accommodation and other requisites for life in their domestic environment but due to old age, disability or chronic illness are unable to care for themselves. In this way, the City of Ljubljana enables an easier life for those in need for assistance in their daily chores, such as clothing, undressing, washing, eating, and basic living needs; household assistance and maintaining social contact, which contributes to the quality of old age in the comfort of one's own home.
