Ahead of the Day of Remembrance of the Dead, 1 November, we opened the extended urn burial area of the Žale cemetery and the extended Rudnik cemetery.

At the Žale cemetery, we carried out an expansion of the central cemetery, which includes three round urn oases with urn niches and ground graves, one square urn oasis for ground burials of urns, the Grove of Memory, the Fountain of Life, the Green Pyramid and a perimeter park for scattering ashes.

At the Rudnik cemetery, we expanded the northern part and opened new access to the cemetery. We set up 45 new ground graves and 55 new wall graves for urns and moved the monument and remains of fallen soldiers of the National Liberation Army to a new location at the entrance to the cemetery.
