On Saturday, 29 September 2018, at the conclusion of the European Week of Sports the energy renovated sports hall Kodeljevo and the renovated athletics and football stadium Kodeljevo were opened.

The energy renovation of the Kodeljevo hall falls within the framework of the public-private partnership between the City of Ljubljana and the consortium of companies Petrol in Resalta, it included energy management, renovation of the lighting, building envelope and furniture, roof insulation, air conditioning and the heating system.

At the Kodeljevo stadium the athletic track and competition surfaces for all athletic disciplines were renovated.
