Members of the LJ ECC 2025 Programming Council have chosen 49 proposals submitted during the public call for programme ideas for Ljubljana, European Capital of Culture 2025.

The formation of the cultural programme LJ ECC 2025 is a process which is going to continue in 2020, depending on the decision of the international expert council weather we will get into the second round of the competition for the title ECC 2025. All projects chosen by the LJ ECC 2025 Programming Council are going to receive additional 10 points in the next programming call, which is going to serve as a basis for precisely defining projects to be included in the second application book.

The first application book was submitted at the end of 2019

The first application book, which we submitted to the Ministry of Culture on 30 September 2019, includes some projects by other proponents chosen by the LJ ECC 2025 Working Group. The process of developing programme ideas is going to continue in cooperation with the proponents until the final cultural programme LJ ECC 2025 is formed when the decision of the international expert council on which Slovenian city is going to hold the ECC 2025 title is going to be made known.
