Revitalized tree-lined avenue in Kodeljevo Park
In Kodeljevo Park, we planted new trees as part of the chestnut avenue on Carl Benz Street, thus restoring and completing the old castle tree-lined avenue.
We have preserved 17 adult trees, removed two weakened trees and planted 35 new horse chestnuts, which now, with 17 older trees, form the historic design of the protected tree-lined avenue. We have converted the space between the trees, where the visitors to the park and its facilities were parking their vehicles, into a green area.
