The City of Ljubljana Scholarship holder Sara Čano won the 6th J. J. F. Dotzauer International Competition and the 11th International Cello Competition A. Janigro in Poreč.

This year in October, the recipient of the City of Ljubljana Scholarship for the Gifted Sara Čano won first place at the prestigious 6th J. J. F. Dotzauer International Competition in Dresden, Germany.
The 16-year old cello student of the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana made a big impression with her superb technique and excellent interpretation and won in the category 15 to 18 years.
At the end of October, she also won the 11th International Cello Competition A. Janigro in Poreč, Croatia.
