The sculpture of Peter Božič has been unveiled at the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship (PST), at the crossing of Božičeva Ulica and Štajerska Cesta, on 2 October 2014.

Peter Božič was a writer and a playwright who acted as a member of the City Council of the City of Ljubljana after his retirement. As a city councillor he gave most attention to the development of culture and sports in Ljubljana. As the Head of the Cultural and Research Activities Department at the City Council of the City of Ljubljana he participated in numerous projects on development of the infrastructure in the area of culture and research in Ljubljana (the Slovanska and Bežigrad libraries, the House of Experiments, the renovation of the Auersperg Palace or the new City Museum Ljubljana, the renovation of Kino Šiška Centre etc.). He also acted as the Head of the Commission for Naming Streets and Settlements and a member of the Commission for Citizen Initiatives of the City Council of the City of Ljubljana.
