On 26 June 2013, a contract was signed between Miha Jarc, CEO of Mijaks investicije d.o.o., and Mayor Zoran Janković for a public-private partnership to develop a sheltered housing project alongside the Šiška home for elderly residents.

The contract signed envisages the construction by the private partner of two buildings totalling 4,477.76 sq m with 54 residential units of sheltered housing. The contract also includes provision of 46 external parking spaces plus landscaping as well as care and maintenance of the site as a whole. The City of Ljubljana will take into ownership 10 sheltered housing units, which represents the public side of the project with the corresponding share of common areas.
The overall cost of the project, including input by the City of Ljubljana (land, planning permission, municipal fee) of €1,153,900, is €5,498,684 (excluding VAT).
