Signed agreement between the City of Ljubljana and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia

On 6 May 2021, Mayor Zoran Janković and Minister of Public Administration Boštjan Koritnik signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the City of Ljubljana on the Implementation of Programs and Tasks under the Capital City of the Republic of Slovenia Act for the period 2020-2023.

The agreement contains 29 programs and tasks related to the field of work of six ministries and the General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia. These are the ministries of the interior, justice, defence, infrastructure, health and education, science and sport.

These include road and railway projects, land transfer in the area of the University Rehabilitation Institute of the Republic of Slovenia Soča and change of premises of the University Clinical Center Ljubljana on the street Ulica stare pravde, as well as a change to the Municipal Detailed Spatial Plan for the construction of the Academy of Figurative Arts ALUO, the Secondary School for Design and Photography SŠOF and CDL facilities in the area of the street Roška cesta and for the construction of the Science Center.
