At the beginning of October, the international exercise SIQUAKE 2020 took place in the area of Ljubljana, based on the scenario that the region of central Slovenia was hit by a strong earthquake.

In addition to teams from Ljubljana, units from other parts of Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Italy and Austria also took part in the exercise, testing their readiness to intervene after an earthquake.

The exercise, which continued over six days, took place at 12 work locations in Ljubljana and the surrounding area, with more than 700 participants taking part in it.
