Slovak ambassador visits city hall
Zoran Janković, Mayor of Ljubljana, hosted the newly appointed Slovak Ambassador to Slovenia Juraj Migaš in the City Hall on 5 February 2014.
Prior to the appointment as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Slovenia in December 2013, Juraj Migaš was Advisor to Slovak Prime Minister, responsible for foreign affairs.
The cooperative agreement between the twin cities of Ljubljana and Bratislava signed in 1967 is still bilateral as well as multilateral. The residents of both cities are particularly excited about the regular guest performances of the Slovenian National Theatre Ljubljana and the Slovak National Theatre. The publishing of the Slovene-Slovak poetry collection Poezije by the Slovenian poet France Prešeren on the Slovenian cultural holiday in 2002 was of great significance in the Slovak cultural public.
